2. Hosting and access logs
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes data on our behalf insofar as this is necessary to provide the hosting service.
When you access a page or file, the web server processes technically necessary access data. This may include the requested resource, date and time, referrer, browser type and version, operating system, amount of data transferred and the IP address or hostname. The processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its security and stability, and diagnose technical faults. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.
According to STRATO, IP addresses and hostnames in customer-accessible log files are anonymised. Access-log archives are generally available for six weeks and error logs for 24 hours. Further information is available in STRATO’s privacy information.
3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, the content of your message and any other information you provide in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; where your enquiry concerns a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies.
We retain correspondence only for as long as necessary to process the enquiry, unless statutory retention or documentation obligations require a longer period. Please do not send confidential information by unencrypted email.
4. Consent management and local storage
Optional analytics is disabled by default. When you make a choice in the privacy settings, that choice, the time of the decision, the consent-text version and an expiry time are stored in your browser’s local storage under the key wtc2030_analytics_consent. This entry is used solely to remember and respect your choice. It expires after six months unless you change your choice earlier or delete your browser data.
This local storage is strictly necessary to provide the privacy setting expressly requested by you within the meaning of Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Insofar as the consent record constitutes personal data, its processing is necessary to document and manage your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) and Article 7(1) GDPR.
5. Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Our measurement ID is G-MDHLR7F564. The Google tag is not loaded and no data is transmitted to Google before you consent.
Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors find and use the website. Depending on your browser and use of the website, the processed data may include page URLs and titles, referrer information, time of access, browser and device information, language, approximate location, session and interaction data and pseudonymous identifiers. Google states that IP addresses are used at collection time for coarse location determination and are discarded before being logged or stored.
The legal basis for loading the Google tag, storing analytics cookies and processing analytics data is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You may refuse consent without any disadvantage.
After consent, Google Analytics may set the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_* to distinguish pseudonymous users and sessions. We configure their maximum lifetime to six months without renewal on subsequent visits. Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals are disabled in our website configuration.
User-level event data in our Google Analytics property is retained for two months. This setting does not necessarily affect aggregated standard reports. Google may process data through affiliated companies and infrastructure in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Such transfers may be based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Further information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy, the Google Analytics data-safeguarding information and Google’s data-processing terms.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future by selecting . On withdrawal, the analytics consent is set to denied and analytics cookies accessible to this website are deleted. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal is not affected.
6. Self-hosted media
The background video, trailer, images and fonts are hosted directly on this server. Loading or playing them does not establish a connection to an external media, video or font platform. The access-log processing described in section 2 also applies when these files are requested.
7. External links
This website contains links to external websites. Data is transferred to the respective third-party provider only when you follow such a link. The privacy information of that provider then applies.
8. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), data portability (Article 20 GDPR) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR).
You may exercise your rights by contacting the controller using the details in section 1. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place in connection with this website.
